Regional Manager – US North East
Job Description
Tungaloy America is an emerging leader in the development and distribution of innovative carbide cutting tools. Tungaloy is looking for an experienced Regional Manager with a minimum of 5-7 years machining and sales management experience in the US-Northeast State regions. Ideally, the candidate would live in New York, Massachusetts or Pennsylvania, but other locations will be considered for the right person. Salary and commission base is above market average.
The best candidate will be able to professionally represent the Company and manage all sales activities within the assigned region. The candidate will take complete responsibility for all sales expense, budgeting, staffing, training, distribution, promotion, trade shows and overall sales performance within the assigned region. The Regional Manager will also strive to produce consistent sales growth through increased market share.
We desire an individual who demonstrates strong management skills relating to supervision, motivation, training and mentoring of sale staff. He/she must posses an understanding of a balance sheet and its relation to overall company performance and profitability. He/she must have a working knowledge of the distributor role in stocking, promotion and selling the Company's products within the territory.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 7 years of sales management
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience with application and trouble-shooting of indexable cutting tools in turning and milling.
3. Knowledge of CNC machine tool programming
4. High energy and excellent verbal communication skills
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills
6. Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual budgets
7. Responsible for maintaining the overall sales budget for territory within the assigned region
8. Ability to analyze regional product trends and submit a report pertaining to potential new customers and/or distributors
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications
10. Travel required throughout the assigned territory
11. Responsible for managing persons in outside sales positions and assist in hiring and training of new sales staff
12. Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience related
13. Other job related activities as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing
