TAC® indexable inserts are part of our extensive variety of tool materials of differing geometries A wide selection of TAC® inserts are available for operations ranging from turning and milling to drilling.
Lathe mounted TAC® holders can be used for many applications including turning and boring, threading grooving, and parting. We also produce modular tools for such turning applications.
CBN is an ultra-hard cutting tool material consisting of polycrystalline cubic boron nitride with a metallic or ceramic binder. CBN is applied to TAC® inserts (indexable inserts), drills, endmills, etc. CBN tools permit metal cutting at feeds and speeds much higher than conventional cutting tools materials.
These tools, mounted on milling machines, are employed for tasks that include face milling, shaping, excavation, and profiling. Face-milling cutters and end mills that utilize TAC® indexable inserts are main products.
These tools are used for various drilling and hole-making operations, and consist primarily of twist drills, gun drills, and reamers etc. Our solid-type drills with spiral oilholes provide cutting point lubrication and superb performance.
